This work is presented within the framework of the research project “(Re)lecturas y discusiones actuales acerca de la especificidad de los estudios literarios, sus diálogos interdisciplinares y su estatuto científico” (IIFLEO-USAL | 2021/2022). Its main goal is to propose a definition of deautomatization concept (Shklovsky, 1916) that integrates the constructive principle (Tinianov, 1924, 1927) and the translation mechanism concepts (Lotman, 1970) and allows to describe deautomatization procedure as a continuum between identification and deconstruction. In addition, from the reading of Las aventuras de la China Iron, an Argentine novel of XXI century, will try to demonstrate how deconstructive deautomatization operates.Downloads
