Andrea Laura Lombardo, Universidad Nacional de La Plata

Andrea Lombardo is an English Language Teacher and Sworn Translator from the Faculty of Humanities and Educational Sciences at the National University of La Plata (UNLP). She obtained a Magister degree in Translation from the University of Belgrano in the city of Buenos Aires. She is a member of the research group Escrituras de minorías, ethos y (auto) traducción, in charge of Dr. María Laura Spoturno. Her research interests are African Literature, Translation Studies and Linguistics. She has participated in congresses and published a number of articles on these areas of study. At present, she is carrying out research mainly on the work of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. She teaches at the School of Engineering at UNLP as Adjunct Professor, at Escuela de Lenguas as Qualified Assistance Professor with part-time dedication, at a bilingual school and secondary schools in the province of Buenos Aires.
