The Use of the Modal Verb Shall in Legal Texts

Jorge Christian Curto is a Law graduate from Universidad de Buenos Aires. He also holds a degree in translation (English<>Spanish) from the same university. Currently, he is a lecturer in English in the Law degree course at the School of Law at Universidad de Buenos Aires and a junior lecturer in English at the School of Legal Sciences at Universidad del Salvador. He is also a teaching assistant in General Theory of Law at the School of Law at Universidad de Buenos Aires. He has written different articles on Legal English and legal and political matters.
