Plurilocated literatures in the NOA (Northwest of Argentina): Borders and representations in the narratives and poetics of Tartagal
Keywords:
plurilocated literatures, emerging narratives, TartagalAbstract
This work is presented as an instance designed to think over the different scenarios and proposals that have been developed and have taken place in Tartagal for some time so far; and due to certain state policies and self-managed publishing houses, they emerge as alternative and resistance spaces to dismantle the Argentine literature category in its homogeneous character (Cornejo Polar, 1994; Bocco, 2020), exposing its plural and diversified identity. In this framework, a series of contemporary texts and works produced in cultural areas located in the north of the country will be addressed and will allow to redefine the current literary systems in Argentina. All of them integrated by a multiplicity of discursive genres systems, voices and social and cultural identities, such as the narratives and poetics, emerging from border areas such as Tartagal, they draw a cartography that is arranged in three trends: the first, from a folkloric key; the second as a social and political criticism; and finally, the third, written in the original language, subjected to self-translation as a way of resistance and political positioning.References
