The purpose of this paper is to account for the way some stories of El mundo sin las personas que lo afean y lo arruinan (2010) of the Argentine writer Patricio Pron reconfigure the relationship between a writing and its belonging to a literary national tradition. The proposed hypothesis states that Pron´s tales, while displaying their allegiance to recognize aspects of culture and German history, maintain a tension of externality not only for its appeal to foreign travel and insight, but, fundamentally, in the appropriation of the German topics produced by rewriting procedures and resources of some stories of Jorge Luis Borges. Expressing the apparent contradiction of the so-called «German book» Pron elude and, at the same time, is part of the Argentine tradition. This paper seeks to explain the fold in its operation: the dodge of the thematic and territorial determinations imposed by a national origin and his eagerness of affiliation in borgean procedures and a literary proposal of processing and resolution of tensions between the foreign and the Argentine.Downloads
