Abstract

María Luisa Bombal (Chile, 1910-80) es autora de dos novelas (La última niebla, 1934; La amortajada, 1938) y de algunos cuentos cortos, y ha sido reconocida en general por la critica como «la primera mujer [hispanoamericana] que se adelanta al atrevido planteamiento de la problemática sexual de la mujer del siglo veinte, dentro de una perspectiva y una estructura narrativa de innovación y contemporaneidad»
