ECLIPSE OF GOD IN BLACK MIRROR: EPISODES “SAN JUNÍPERO” AND “WHITE BEAR”

Abstract

The present article, stemming from a project of the Theology department within the Literature program, aims to investigate the existence of God and human dignity as addressed in two episodes of the British series Black Mirror, available on the Netflix platform. Although the universe of the series is set in a dystopian society, with a constellation of characters who have overcome God or are at least indifferent to Him, it is possible to appreciate certain aspects in their attitudes or in their words that seem to reveal, in an implicit way, the opposite.
