Experimental practices developed since the twenties and reflected on Oliverio Girondo and Xul Solar’s experiences, embody both literary and aesthetics lines of work into the exploration of languages. The further study of the avant gard movements involved from a different perspective, not so generally exposed, enables new lines of study that widens the field and contributes to a posterior connection to visual poet Edgardo A. Vigo, suggesting the continuity of certain aspects of Xul and Girondo’s work as forerunners. Through the connection of different authors this work pretends to convey lines of study linked to both literature and art in an integrated approach towards visual poetry beyond the usual connections to European heritage.Downloads
