Abstract

Aquende (1935), by Juan Filloy (1894-2000), is a particulartext: itis not a novel, itis not an essay; Initpoetic prose predominates, there are poemsincluded. The description of landscapesisinterspersedwithhistorical / allegorical narrative. We have consideredit as the object of ourstudy in so far as itdiscursivelyrefersintensely to music. This characteristic—whichstartswith an analogybetween musical and literarydiscourses—requires a deepeningthatinvestigates the confluences between music and literaturepresent in the work.
