Abstract

Adalbert von Chamisso (Louis Charles Adelaide de Chamisso), descendiente de una familia noble francesa, pertenece por actitud cultural y por cronología a la llamada «segunda generación romántica», que se manifiesta a partir de 1800 en Heidelberg y en Berlin, si bien se debe reconocer que en algunos de sus textos se advierte una separación de este movimiento a favor de un moderado realismo.
