Ahí Donde no Estás Una Reflexión sobre el Narrador en Aura, de Carlos Fuentes

The second-person narrator and the present tense in Carlos Fuentes’ nouvelle Aura (1999), favor the convergence of narratology and linguistics. A narration that is a witch’s spell reveals a performative quality. Narrative levels dissolve upon «words that do things», which opens the text to several questions, included that of the limits of literature itself.Downloads
